    Why we started Shroomyz

    A few years ago, ordering mushrooms in Canada was a gamble. Unlabelled bags, mystery strains, inconsistent doses — and a lot of guessing. We'd been growing for years, mostly for friends and family, and kept hearing the same story: people wanted to use psilocybin intentionally, but couldn't find a source they trusted.

    So we built one. We partnered with a small circle of Canadian cultivators we'd known for years, set up an independent lab-testing pipeline, and put together a shop that actually tells you what's in the jar: strain, harvest date, potency, the works. No middlemen, no relabelled product, no shortcuts.

    Five years in, we're still the same operation at heart — small, careful and obsessive about what leaves the building. The catalogue has grown, the lab has gotten fancier, and the shipping network now reaches every postal code in the country, but the people packing your order are the same ones who started this.

    What we believe

    • Quality is not negotiable. Every harvest is screened for psilocybin content, moisture and contaminants before it's listed. If a batch doesn't pass, it doesn't ship.
    • Dosing should be honest. Capsules are weighed and verified, edibles are clearly labelled, and dried product is sold by exact weight. You should always know what you're taking.
    • Privacy is part of the product. Plain packaging, vacuum-sealed, no Shroomyz branding on the outside, encrypted checkout.
    • Education matters. Psilocybin works best when people understand set, setting and dose. We'd rather lose a sale than push someone into an experience they're not ready for.

    Hand-weighed, vacuum-sealed and labelled with strain, batch ID and harvest date in a clean room.
